Cash handling experts Volumatic have joined forces with the official trade association for Scotland’s food, drink and wholesaling businesses, the Scottish Wholesale Association (SWA), with a view to helping their members simplify their cash handling processes.

The SWA was established in 1920 and is a not-for-profit membership organisation that has become the trusted voice of food, drink and allied traders across the length and breadth of Scotland. The SWA recommend only the best suppliers and services to their members and by joining forces with Volumatic are championing their extensive cash handling expertise and intelligent cash handling solutions to the members they work with who regularly handle cash.

Volumatic will be in good company as part of the SWA, joining over 60 wholesales members, 80 supplier members and 15 support and affiliate members, and are excited to be talking to wholesalers in Scotland who could really benefit from Volumatic’s range of cash handling solutions, from our simple CountEasy money counting scales to our all-in-one solution, that validates, counts and stores cash, the CounterCache intelligent (CCi).

John Farrell, Member Development & Liaison Officer at the Scottish Wholesale Association said: “We’re happy to be welcoming Volumatic as our latest affiliate member and are looking forward to introducing them to our SWA members to see how they can help make their daily cash processing easier and more cost-effective.”

Tom Walker, Sales Manager, UK North at Volumatic, said: “Volumatic are always looking for ways to help businesses with their cash handling needs and by joining forces with the SWA we’ll have the opportunity to talk to Scottish Wholesalers who could really benefit from our award-winning cash handling solutions. We’re very excited to be arranging meetings already and look forward to a long and strong partnership with the SWA.”

Volumatic already supply their innovative cash handling solutions to a number of key businesses in Scotland including Scotmid Co-op, The Vu and Nisa.
