Wholesaler Castell Howell is celebrating after being awarded the highest level AA grade BRC Global Standard Accreditation.
Developed by the industry to identify best practice, the BRC Global Standard for Storage and Distribution is specifically designed for logistics operations dealing with food, packaging and consumer products and sets a benchmark for the sector.
The Caterforce member based in Carmarthenshire was awarded the top AA grade as the wholesaler demonstrated the highest quality product safety, integrity, quality and legality throughout the storage and distribution process.

During the audit, the wholesaler was put under the microscope with elements such as organisational structure, responsibility and management, hazard and risk analysis, site and building standards, facility management, personnel and much more were put under scrutiny, but passed with flying colours.
