This year Women in Wholesale wanted to put more brilliant women forward for FWD Awards, as part of their mission to ‘progress’ female talent in the British wholesale industry.
“After all,” says Elit Rowland, Women in Wholesale founder, “awards always help when you want a promotion.”
And now Women in Wholesale are thrilled to say that all the entries they put forward were shortlisted and two of them won.
Big congratulations to Katie Sillars, Business Development Manager, Bidfood Scotland (Young Wholesaler winner), Joyce Johnston, Customer Service Manager, JW Filshill (Customer Support winner), and Sandra Morris, Key Account Manager, Filshill, JW Filshill (Depot Team Member finalist, third from right in group photo).
The other happy faces in the group shot are representatives from Women in Wholesale’s supporters JJ Food Service, who won two awards, Wholesale Service to Caterers and the Digital Innovation Award, and the WiW steering committee.
Women in Wholesale have also announced dates for their 2019 events,.the April 25th Speed Networking event and the October 10th conference,
