The UK’s leading confectionery distributor World of Sweets, is encouraging retailers to stock up on a new range of exciting products from Barratt.

The brand has been producing fun and innovative family favourites for over 170 years, with new launches set to be a big success for retail customers.

Barratt has seen significant year on year growth, and they are now worth £28.3m RSV*.

World of Sweets is introducing new products from Barratt’s most popular brands – Wham, Fruit Salad and Dip Dab, which are set to be released in the Summer.

The selection of taste-tingling products includes Wham Flash & Dip Pop (available now), Wham Rope, and Fruit Salad Rope, all with no artificial colours and flavours.

Wham Flash & Dip Pop, RRP £1.29, is a new novelty line from the original sour brand and available now. The flashing dip and lick lolly is a delicious sour raspberry lolly to dip in a tasty candy starburst.

Another new product from the range is the Wham Rope, RRP £0.99, available late June.

Consumers can experience the power of sour with Wham Rope, through the sour raspberry flavour soft candy rope covered in sour mini bites.

This summer will also see the launch of Fruit Salad Rope, RRP £0.99, available mid-June.

Fruit Salad Rope is a raspberry & pineapple flavoured soft candy rope covered in fruity mini bites.

Tropical and fruit flavours were voted in the top five flavour choices for UK sweets consumers**, so retail customers are encouraged to stock up and maximise potential sales.

A new novelty line under the Dip Dab brand is also being launched. The Dip Dab Duo Twist has a delicious lemon flavour sherbet alongside a tasty strawberry flavour candy spray, with only a £1 RRP.

The novelty treat is vegan friendly and contains no artificial colours and flavours and will be available mid-August.

The products are great additions for retailers looking to grow their novelty & impulse confectionery lines to increase the likelihood of unplanned purchases in order to maximise potential sales.
