The UK’s favourite canned peas brand, Batchelors Peas, has renewed its partnership with the Betfred Super League for the sixth consecutive season.
The partnership will see Batchelors Peas continuing to drive category awareness through a range of media relations activity including: press competitions, digital and social support in addition to money-can’t-buy prize draws.
Betfred Super League fans will notice the Batchelors Peas brand featured across on-pitch perimeter boards and on all official competition backdrops at more than 150 games.
Dean Towey, Commercial Director (Foods) at Princes, said: “Batchelors Peas are delighted to announce the continuation of our partnership with the Betfred Super League for the 2021 season.”
The campaign continues to increase usage and drive purchase of mushy and marrowfat peas amongst existing and new consumers, through the promotion of the products as the ideal accompaniment for fish and chips and other family favourite meals.
To engage with consumers all year round, Batchelors Peas recently launched on Instagram (@BatchelorsPeas) to further drive usage and provide recipe inspiration for consumers.
The 2021 season returns on the 26th March with a weekend of double headers: two matches every day, all weekend. Friday sees last year’s winners St Helens take on Salford Red Devils at 6pm and then Leigh Centurions, on their return to Super League, will play Wigan Warriors in the 8:15pm evening kick off.
Batchelors Peas produces top quality Marrowfat, Mushy and Garden Peas, each of which are the perfect accompaniment to match day fish and chips – even counting towards one of your five a day!
