Following an extremely successful first Easter, Burton’s Biscuit Company is bringing one of the UK’s best-loved confectionery lines back to the sweet biscuits aisle for the second-year running, with Cadbury Creme Egg Biscuits.
Available as a limited edition from 1st January 2015 until Easter Monday, Cadbury Creme Egg Biscuits are back by popular demand.
“During their first Easter, Cadbury Creme Egg Biscuits drove category growth within special treats, ahead of sweet biscuits, bringing in an additional 850,000 buyers to Cadbury sweet biscuits over 17 weeks*2; a great example of Burton’s success in the field of category-boosting innovation,” says David Costello, Burton’s Biscuit Company’s Head of Customer Category Management.
“Shoppers love the delicious combination of Creme Egg and biscuit – but they also see it as an additional purchase alongside traditional Easter confectionery. We’re sure consumer demand will be high for Easter 2015.”
In Easter 2014, Cadbury Creme Egg Biscuits delivered £2.92m RSV in just 16 weeks, and were the No.1 Special Treat biscuit from January to April*3.
Cadbury Creme Egg Biscuits (106g) will be available in shelf-ready packaging of 12, at an rrp of £1.79.
The brand will be supported by in-store POS, including shippers and gondola ends.
