Following its successful sugar reduction programme on Maryland and the introduction of less than 100 calorie packs across its Minis range, Burton’s Biscuit Company is doing more to help consumers reduce their sugar intake, with the launch of Maryland Sugar Free Cookies. Burton’s are striving to achieve a 20% sugar and calorie reduction across their portfolio. Since 2016, they have achieved a 20%+ sugar reduction on Jammie Dodgers, a 5%+ reduction on core Maryland and 10%+ on Maryland Minis. the new Maryland Sugar Free alternative will allow biscuit lovers everywhere to enjoy a greattasting, sugar free cookie whilst having fun and not having to compromise on taste
