Jus-Rol, the UK’s leading pastry brand from General Mills UK, is launching a national on-pack promotion offering every consumer the chance of a free cook book full of tasty recipes from popular celebrity chef, James Martin.
The on-pack offer will run from 1 May and will feature on 1.2 million packs of Jus-Rol Chilled Pastry. Consumers will have a chance to get their hands on James Martin The Collection, which features 300 classic recipes including an entire section on Pies & Tarts. In order to receive a copy of the book, consumers who buy any two promotional packs of Jus-Rol Chilled Pastry simply need to send in their proof of purchase along with a £2 contribution towards postage.
Austin Bailey, Channel Director, Jus-Rol says: “We are expecting this on-pack offer to drive volume sales up 50% and increase penetration for the Jus-Rol brand during the month of May. With each consumer looking to purchase at least two packs to qualify for the offer, we’re advising retailers to stock up their chiller cabinets with Jus-Rol promotional packs in order to satisfy demand.
“We are confident the promotion will prove to be a hit with consumers and retailers alike. Consumers will appreciate the high perceived value of the book; while retailers will love the incremental sales uplifts the promotion is sure to deliver.”Special promotional packaging will ensure standout in the chiller cabinet. The promotion will be further supported through POS which will communicate the offer to shoppers.
