- Blue Cheese and Fruity Pomegranate dressings to debut in Tesco
- New listings join growing line up following summer refresh
Mary Berry’s Foods is celebrating the successful introduction of a new look for summer 2019 with two additions to its growing line up of dressings.
Fruity Pomegranate and Blue Cheese will make their debuts at the end of this month, with their first listings secured with Tesco. It will also be available in Wholesale.
Both launches come just three months after the brand announced a colourful new look for what will now be a nine-strong range of offerings, as brand owner RH Amar continues to expand the Mary Berry’s dressings repertoire far beyond the summer salads season.
Fruity Pomegranate promises to add a fresh twist to both sweet and savoury dishes, whilst Blue Cheese will work well in pasta dishes as well as providing an alternative for dishes such as cauliflower cheese, explains Anne-Marie Cannon, Senior Brand Manager for Mary Berry’s at brand owner RH Amar.
“Shoppers will now be able to enjoy two delicious additions to our range, which will further showcase the versatility of Mary Berry’s dressings beyond an accompaniment to salad, whilst reinforcing the message behind our 2019 #NotJustForSalads marketing campaign.
“Fruity Pomegranate is ideal in a wide arrange of dishes from a summer pavlova through to roasted aubergine with crumbled feta, and can even be used to add a fruity twist to a classic mojito by mixing with white rum and ginger ale – whilst Blue Cheese is delicious stirred through pasta with cream cheese, cooked chicken and wilted spinach.
“As the number one brand in premium dressings[1], we believe we are particularly well placed to continue to drive the trend for shoppers to trade up and explore exciting new flavour combinations and experiences through our dressings,” adds Cannon.
As with the rest of the range, both new dressings (RSP: £3.00, 235ml) are free from artificial colours, flavourings and preservatives and are suitable for vegetarians.
