Nestlé Confectionery has announced it is partnering with online streaming service NOW TV to launch an on-pack promotion featuring some of the nation’s favourite confectionery brands.
The promotion will see KITKAT, AERO, YORKIE, TOFFEE CRISP and ROWNTREE’S FRUIT PASTILLES offer consumers the chance to win a one-month NOW TV Entertainment Pass worth £7.99/€15, with thousands of passes up for grabs for the next 12 weeks*.
Promotional stock will be available from May 2019, and for consumers to enter they need to simply go online and input a code found on the inside of a promotional wrapper. They will then find out instantly if they are a winner.
Lucky winners will be able to watch the latest must see TV across 11 entertainment channels for a whole month, including Sky Atlantic, Sky One, Sky Witness, FOX, MTV and Comedy Central, plus catch-up on over 300 Box Sets on demand including critically acclaimed shows like Tin Star, Riviera and Chernobyl.
NOW TV is a pick and mix streaming service that lets you choose from a range of passes contract free. Available anytime, anywhere, you can watch through a NOW TV Smart Stick, NOW TV Box, on the web or on over 60 devices with the NOW TV app. So whether you’re chilling in front of your big screen or streaming on your small screen, NOW TV is just a few clicks away.
Both price-marked singles (2 for £1) and standard singles packs will feature in the promotion providing retailers with the flexibility to choose which packs are best for their stores. On-pack promotions offer an excellent way for convenience retailers to boost their confectionery sales, as they are proven to increase both penetration and frequency of purchase. In order to maximise sales convenience retailers should be sure to stock up at launch and display off-shelf, so shoppers cannot miss it.
Emily Barker, Brand Manager at Nestlé UK said:
“We have teamed up with NOW TV to launch this really exciting promotion for our consumers. More and more people watch box sets on demand, and this promotion gives them the chance to watch their favourite shows for free for a whole month. This fantastic offer proved a smash hit last year and we are sure it will be hugely popular again this year.”
