Peperami, the UK’s No.1 meat snacking brand, has announced the launch of its brand-new beef bar range. The new Peperami Beef Bar – available in Original – is the perfect on-the-go snack for the health-conscious consumer, at just 69 calories per pack. 

This innovative new product offers a meaty blend of beef and pork in a convenient bar format, giving consumers a portable, protein-packed snack that is ideal for satisfying afternoon cravings, or a pre or post work out protein essential. Peperami’s new beef bar meets consumer demands for ease and value, while satisfying the increasingly nutritionally aware shopper with an alternative to the predominantly sweet products in the snack bar space. The convenient 20g bar is the ideal snack to eat on-the-go and will be particularly suited to retailer impulse purchase opportunities.

The meat snacking category is currently thriving, growing over 9% in the last two years, and shows no sign of slowing down. With industry projections of compound annual growth rate up 5.2% from 2016-2021, its clear this is only the beginning for the developing trend.

The new Peperami Beef Bar will offer shoppers a protein fuelled on the go snack with 5.9g of protein per 100g. Additionally, the launch will be supported by a seven-figure integrated marketing campaign, which includes a recently launched TVC, TV sponsorship, OOH, sampling, PR and social media.

Peperami Beef Bar is available now in Tesco, ASDA and Sainsbury’s with a RRP £2.75 for a multipack (3x20g).  In Convenience Stores the single 20g bar is available for 99p.
