Ready-to-fill pastry manufacturer, Pidy, has developed a new range of mini packs specifically for operators challenged by reduced covers brought on by social distancing measures. The new mini range has just 24 individual products in each box, and has been created for those outlets, who do not have the volume required for the larger format packs.
Designed to reduce waste, the new packs are available in many of Pidy’s most popular ranges including Cones, Veggie Cups, Spicy Cups and Spoonettes.
The individual products are all secured in a bespoke tray with durable flow wrap, to ensure safe transit and optimal quality upon receipt.
Technically innovative and hugely creative, the Pidy mini range is available in various styles, shapes and sizes and is ideal for canapes, small starters, and buffet platters. They are suitable for hot/cold and sweet/savoury fillings, and do not require to be re-heated before use.
The delicate pastry cases are made from Pidy’s traditional Foncage dough which is light and crispy and made with sunflower oil.
Andrea Richardson at Pidy UK, believes the packs are the perfect solution during this difficult time:
“We understand how challenging the past few months has been for our customers and we want to make sure we are doing everything we can to make the transition to normal as easy as possible.
By introducing the most popular lines of our canape range into this new packaging format, our customers don’t have the risk of bulk buying and can now purchase in smaller quantities as and when they need to. With many events now taking place with smaller numbers, this new pack formats provides caterers with the perfect solution…’
