Warburtons – the UK’s number one bakery brand[1] – has launched a new addition to its range of baked products, a pack of 4 Sliced Sandwich Rolls – in a square format!
The new Sliced Sandwich Rolls are the latest addition to the line of existing Warburtons rolls, which include: Sliced White Rolls, Brioche Burger Buns and Large White Rolls. However, the new rolls come with a twist.
The square shaped rolls are produced and baked in a distinctive way to give a soft, moist roll with a great texture. This unique process, coupled with baking on the oven sole, enables a reduced bake time which results in a roll filled with flavour and texture.
The rolls are soft and pre-sliced, meaning that they are practical and convenient, and suitable for the whole family. The rolls are larger and have a resilient texture which makes them great for holding substantial fillings.
Darren Littler, Innovation and Product Marketing Director at Warburtons said: “At Warburtons, we always want to bring excitement and innovation to the category and deliver delicious products that cater to consumer demand and trends. We definitely think we are on a ‘square-ish’ roll with this new product!”
The Warburtons 4 Sliced Sandwich Rolls are now available at Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Heron stores nationwide. The product launched last week (27th July) with an RRP of £1.20. Further listings will follow in the coming weeks across Iceland, Asda, Coop and Morrisons.
