Dexion-StockJ&M Storage will mark its 25th anniversary of being in business this year.  Starting as a family business in 1985, J&M Storage is now seen by many as one of the leading suppliers to the UK’s new and used pallet racking, longspan, and industrial steel shelving industry. The business has grown in size and now operates from its 80,000 sq ft distribution depot in Whitley Bridge, near Leeds in Yorkshire.

Current managing director, Philip Oxley, joined the business back in 1999 and took over from his father, Michael Oxley, the founder, on his retirement in 2001. Philip has successfully led the business, and delivered continued sales and profit growth of over 20% per year through investment in customer requirements, systematic targeted marketing, and developing a strong team culture.

Phil Oxley, owner of J&M Storage says; “It’s amazing to be able to say that J&M Storage have been going for 25 years, considering my father started all this as a small family business back in 1985. We have seen many changes over the past couple of decades, but it’s the past few years which have been a test of strength.

With the economy still unstable, I’m proud to be able to say that J&M Storage is in a good position to ride out the storm. We believe in investing in the local workforce with its strong work ethics – I think this has played a big part in helping us become one the UK’s leading suppliers of racking in the industry.”

Established in 1985, J&M Storage is one of the UK’s leading suppliers for Longspan, pallet racking, steel shelving, and racking protection.

As one of the one of the UK’s largest distributors of new storage equipment, they also offer: excellent discount structure, lead times of 3-5 working days, and supply direct from stock which is available to view at its 80,000 sq ft premises.
