Pan’Artisan, originally La Pizza Company, launches its new name ahead of Food & Drink Expo.

Richard Jansen, Managing Director, today announced the launch of Pan’Artisan, the new name for La Pizza Company. Pan’Artisan will be producing frozen, full and part-baked, dough-based products for foodservice.

Richard Jansen; “Pan’Artisan will continue to supply the innovative, high quality products that La Pizza has become known for but we want to widen our scope and develop more bespoke products and new ranges in conjunction with our customers, to better meet their needs, and future market trends.  Pan’Artisan will allow us to maximise on our creativity and become more wide-ranging in the frozen dough category, whilst building on La Pizza’s reputation for responsive and flexible levels of customer service.”

Since 1991 La Pizza Company has supplied frozen, full and part-baked, dough-based products to the foodservice industry, building on its Italian traditions, and concentrating mainly on hand-finished pizza bases, dough balls and speciality Italian breads. With the emergence of a wider acceptance by the consumer of more exciting and interesting bread-based formats, the re-launch of the Company with a new name identifies more closely with its capabilities , and its expanding customer base.

Pan’Artisan will be exhibiting at Food & Drink Expo 2012 (25th – 27th March) where it will be launching a number of new products.  Richard Jansen; “We have exhibited at Food & Drink Expo since 2004 as we’ve found it attracts the right audience for our range of products and is the perfect vehicle for launching new products. Our latest launch is the Sorrentini, an innovative product and the ultimate in hot food on the move. It’s made from a thin, Calzone base that has been pinched together creating pockets that are filled with either Mozzarella, ham and tomato or Mozzarella and tomato. The Sorrentini is then baked resulting in all the flavours of pizza in a format that is easy to eat. We are also launching our 5” Tasca, a fully baked, folded, bread pocket that can be filled and either served cold, or toasted in just 90 seconds. On the stand we will also be demonstrating how to stretch and toss dough balls and sampling our delicious Italian wood fired pizza bases.”

To try the new products for yourself, visit stand number L150 and while you are there, if you leave your details you will be entered into a free prize draw to win a culinary trip to Italy to celebrate the new name launch.
