Snack brand Wild Trail today announced a new listing with Co-op. From this week, three flavours of Wild Trail’s healthier snack bar range will be listed in the Local Produce section of Co-op stores in Wales.
Wild Trail, part of Brighter Foods (Tywyn, Wales), makes fruit and nut trail bars inspired by Snowdonia and made from only five natural ingredients. Co-op stores in Wales will list the 4x30g multipack format of Wild Trail’s Cacao, Carrot Cake and Seed & Nut variants, priced at £2.30.
Wild Trail’s bars are designed to appeal to consumers looking for clean label, free-from and natural products to snack on-the-go and those with active lifestyles looking for a natural source of energy and sustenance. All of Wild Trail’s bars are gluten and dairy free, vegetarian and vegan, high in fibre and with no added sugar. Wild Trail’s other key listings include Tesco (UK-wide) and Ocado.
Robin Williams, Wild Trail CEO, said: “We’re delighted to win the new listing with Co-op. We’ve worked hard to create a free-from snack bar of unrivalled quality that meets the demands of the modern consumer. The launch into Co-op is another great milestone for our brand and we look forward to working with Enterprise Foods and Co-op to support and grow the listing.”
Wild Trail’s bars are inspired by Snowdonia’s Craig yr Aderyn (Bird Rock) and are based on traditional trail mix recipes. The brand aims to create snacks for SIMPLE. OUTDOOR. ENERGY. and encourages people to get outdoors, get active and explore their own wild trail… wherever or whatever that may be.
