Users of b2b.store’s WhatsApp Business API platform will now receive marketing and data support to help their campaigns, thanks to the addition of a new AI feature.
Called ProAgent, the AI assistant provides advice to build better campaign performance through a text chat that sits within the main dashboard on the platform – answering questions and prompts using a customer’s live message analytics.
It’s the latest big development for b2b.store’s WhatsApp Business API platform, ProConnect, and enhances the user experience by providing recommendations to achieve better engagement.
ProAgent analyses data to reveal what works best for a customer’s audience, offering a raft of advice including when the best time is to send messages, how to increase open rates, and what sort of content resonates most.
What’s more, ProAgent is also armed with local weather and event information to help customers create highly relevant messages, suggesting message topics and promotions, and even wording.
“The team at b2b.store is using AI tools for several tasks internally, so we wanted to extend that into ProConnect with ProAgent as well,” said b2b.store CEO Rob Mannion.
“Using ProAgent for WhatsApp support is akin to hiring an AI campaign strategist, somebody who can crunch the numbers and tell a business everything they need to know about their WhatsApp campaign performance.
“ProAgent is an around-the-clock sounding board that drives value to a business by providing advice to improve even better engagement and an ROI on messaging.”
The ProAgent launch is the first big upgrade to ProConnect since it was launched in January and bolsters an already-impressive list of WhatsApp features tailored to B2B needs.
Among the tools in its armoury, ProConnect boasts enhanced analytics and the ability to send messages that carry out B2B functions such as pre-sell orders and compliance checks. Having earned ISO 27001 accreditation, b2b.store has also built ProConnect to the highest global data security standards.
b2b.store’s WhatsApp services are already used by several big names in the food and drink wholesale sector, including Bestway, Time Wholesale and Sugro, and its previous solution, B2B WhatsApp, was a finalist in 2024’s Technology Initiative of the Year category at the Grocer Gold Awards.
“ProConnect continues to grow from strength to strength and there are plenty more exciting upgrades on the horizon as part of our development roadmap,” added Mannion.
“There’s no other WhatsApp Business API platform out there that’s got so many B2Bspecialist features and we aim to keep it that way, so watch this space for more launches in the future.”
