The confectionery brand is on a mission to significantly boost brand awareness and market share in the UK. Its sales have already jumped +38% in the last year and this latest listing is testament to the growing popularity of its fun confectionery range that delivers on flavour, variety and popular dietary requirements.
Stuart Johnston, Managing Director, Kervan Gida UK ltd says: “We’re delighted to see this scarily good vegan Halloween range land on the shelves of ASDA and we’re excited about where we can take our partnership in the future.”
Bebeto has also launched a fantastic value offering for convenience retailers to maximise sales during the spooky season. Stuart says: “New for Halloween 2021 is our Halloween Trick & Mix available to independent retailers via distributor Bramble Foods. High street retailer B&M has also taken the seasonal mega packs, selling to shoppers nationwide for £3.99 as part of its Halloween range.”
Stuart continues: “The 750g pack contains a mix of delicious sweets made with no artificial colours, plus a scoop for the sweets, 20 ‘trick or treat’ paper bags and stickers.
“We strongly believe life is for enjoying the little things and with our products and marketing strategy, we endeavour to provide moments of happiness for the whole family. This Halloween is no different. We can’t wait to see consumers creating their own Halloween tuck shops and pick ‘n’ mix combo bags with this excellent value pack.”
The Asda listing and Halloween NPD announcement comes hot on the heels of Bebeto’s six-figure ‘Everything’s Bebetter with Bebeto’ campaign that has taken the brand into homes across London and surrounding counties with its first ever UK TV ad. The significant six-figure investment is part of a nationwide marketing campaign, including out-of-home advertising, PR, social media marketing and consumer sampling.
Stuart concludes: “Bebeto was established here in the UK in 2015, and the UK business has achieved year-on-year growth for the past five years. Having doubled UK turnover every two years since the UK office launched, our vision is to drive the Bebeto brand to become one of the top five sugar confectionery brands worldwide by 2023. New listings and multi-platform campaigns are hugely exciting steps in our growth strategy.”
