Iconic SLUSH PUPPiE brand launches unique pouch format with Tesco exclusive

The iconic SLUSH PUPPiE brand has launched its first range of unique, no added sugar resealable freezer pouches exclusively in Tesco stores.

The SLUSH PUPPiE Pouch is a brand-new concept for the UK, offering the much-loved slushy drink in a convenient and mess-free pouch format that can be enjoyed at home or on the go.

Manchester Drinks, the UK based manufacturer of ready-to-drink products, has launched the officially-licensed SLUSH PUPPiE Pouch to the UK market with exclusive distribution in Tesco. The product brings a unique offering to the grocery sector with a convenient freeze, squeeze and drink concept that is exempt from the sugar tax due to its no added sugar recipes.

The pouch is available in 3 fruity variants; Sour Cherry, Blue Raspberry and Strawberry – all made with real fruit juice from concentrate – containing no artificial flavours and suitable for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs.

The well-known, retro SLUSH PUPPiE branding features on the eye-catching packaging, which is guaranteed to catch the attention of shoppers of all ages.

Each 250ml SLUSH PUPPiE Pouch contains 95 calories and can be frozen in 4 hours, ready to drink in 25 minutes once removed from the freezer. The clean, fuss free pack design is sure to appeal to parents seeking a treat for their children to drink on the go or as a treat for themselves.

The launch in Tesco has marked the beginning of an integrated marketing campaign which will raise awareness of the new pack format to consumers.
