Confetti’s available January 2019

French bakery manufacturing company Bridor has launched a range of new Viennese pastries – the Confetti’s are available from January 2019. The crispy flaky pastry is made with 100% pure butter and barn eggs to deliver exceptional taste across four flavours and two formats – a 90g maxi and 30g mini.

Perfect for retail and foodservice environments, the Confetti’s have a quirky new shape. This new-look format better reveals the generous and enticing fillings, making them an appealing treat for a wide range of customers – big or small.

The maxi Confettis answer demand in the growing out-of-home breakfast market, giving consumers a tasty and filling start to the day, as well as serving as an indulgent daytime snack or dessert on the go. Available in two variants, customers able to choose from: Praline Chocolate, a sensationally decadent Confetti with almond and hazelnut praline covered in chocolate chips; and Apricot Almond, which has a melting apricot heart with crunchy chopped almonds.

Meanwhile, the mini Confettis are perfect for adding a small, portion-controlled indulgence to a breakfast buffet or seminar break. Consumers want to treat themselves now and then, and this product certainly delivers a taste explosion. Praline Chocolate is also supplied in mini form, alongside: Strawberry Almonds, a Confetti rich in fruit that blends the delicate taste strawberry with the sweetness of almond; and Lemon Cheesecake Style, inspired by New York, the lemon adds a touch of sharpness.

Supplied frozen, the Confettis require defrosting for 30-45 minutes, before oven baking at 165-170°C for 11-12 minutes. The product is packaged in units of 150 pieces per box and 80 boxes per pallet with a shelf life of nine months.

Bridor was established in France, the home of bakery and patisserie. The company boasts long-standing heritage and expertise, injecting innovation into classic specialities to appeal to a wider international audience.
