Growth is at the core of the DCS Group and as part of its ambitious plans they have just announced that DCS Manufacturing is moving its operation to Redditch, Worcestershire.

The company has invested in a 90,000sqft purpose designed manufacturing facility and is due to be manufacturing to full capacity at the new site by the beginning of October 2020.

The new manufacturing site will complement the existing DCS Group Sales, Distribution and Re-packing services at their Banbury facility and will provide the business with additional supply-chain capacity and efficiency in order to support its targeted growth plans.

Michael Lorimer, DCS Group CEO, said: “Finding the right site so we could retain our brilliant team was the top priority. The move to the new facility in Redditch will strengthen our reputation as a leading UK manufacturer and distributor, enabling us to continue to provide excellent service to our branded suppliers and customers and ensure the long-term sustainability of our business.

“This is a really exciting development for DCS and reflects the confidence we have to grow in the market. Our Manufacturing division was born out of DCS Sales and Distribution over ten years ago and like the rest of the Group it has grown every year. We now employ over one hundred people on the design, manufacturing and distribution of both our Enliven own label brand and other well-known branded personal care products for the UK retail market,” he added.

The new factory in Redditch has increased the existing warehousing capacity by fifty percent making the entire operation more efficient. An additional ten new jobs will be created. The company’s headquarters will remain in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
