Wholesalers from across Scotland gathered earlier this month to attend the 18th instalment of the Scottish Wholesale Achievers Awards in Edinburgh, including leading independent foodservice wholesaler, JB Foods, who claimed a category accolade at the prestigious evening.
First time entrants to the awards, JB Foods, which is a member of the Caterforce Group, won the award for Best Delivered Operation.
They also appeared on the shortlist for three additional awards on the night including Best Marketing Initiative for its industry-first chocolate scented food directory. The company’s Business Manager, Amy Smith, was nominated for ‘Rising Star of Wholesale’ whilst its Business Development Manager Nadeem Shah, was a finalist for the coveted Employee of the Year.

The shortlist nominations for not one, but two, of our colleagues also reflects the fantastic team we have, and we were delighted that they were able to be recognised for their hard work.”
Established in 1963, family run business JB Foods began their journey supplying fast food and take away establishments in Edinburgh and the surrounding area. The team now run a fleet of over 30 multi temperature vehicles, servicing the breath of Scotland and North East of England offering an extensive range of ingredients crockery and tableware.
