Multi temperature supply chain specialist Oakland International has maintained British Retail Consortium’s (BRC) quality standard for storage and distribution for well-over a decade, securing a double ‘AA’ rating in the latest audit. Oakland was one of the first businesses in their sector to achieve BRC accreditation, internationally recognised as the ‘global standard’ for storage and distribution. Oakland supply UK, Irish and Spanish retail, discount, convenience and wholesale markets from their UK and Irish facilities.
Head of Supply Chain Compliance and Accreditation, Louise Smith, stated: “This is a fantastic result for the team and I would like to thank them for all of their hard work which is so important in maintaining our Quality Standards, not just on audit day but on a year-round basis.”
