Chris Ellis departing PRUK, with Ian Peart promoted to Commercial Director
Pernod Ricard UK (PRUK) today announces that Ian Peart, Business Development Director, PRUK, has been promoted to the position of Commercial Director from 1st July 2020, replacing Chris Ellis. Having been with PRUK for very nearly 16 years, Chris Ellis has decided to leave the business having made a considerable contribution in four different roles, most latterly as the Commercial Director. Chris leaves with PRUK having its highest ever market share in the off and on trade channels.
Ian Peart joined PRUK in 2006 as Field Sales Director and has since held several positions in the Commercial team, including: Field Sales Controller, Business Unit Controller – Grocery and Channel Director, On-Trade. For the last three years, as Business Development Director, he has been responsible for identifying, developing and accelerating growth opportunities for Pernod Ricard in the UK.
Commenting on this appointment, David Haworth said: “I am delighted for Ian who has a wealth of industry experience having worked in the UK drinks industry for 28 years, the last 14 years at Pernod Ricard in a number of roles within the business. Chris has been with Pernod Ricard for 16 very positive years in a variety of Commercial roles and has decided the time is right to move on – Chris goes with our very best wishes for his next adventure.”
