UK water and soft drinks manufacturer Radnor Hills are moving their PET bottles to 51% recycled plastic (RPET) in a bid to support the UK Government proposals on plastic waste. Radnor Hills started RPET production in July, with their 500ml water bottles the first to make the move. While the company’s packaging suppliers are making the RPET bottles a little clearer, shoppers will notice a slight difference in the colour of the bottles, but William Watkins, Radnor Hills MD says this won’t affect the taste of the product inside!
