Brakes, the UK’s leading foodservice supplier, has announced it has been named MSC UK Foodservice Wholesaler of the Year for the seventh successive year. The honour, announced at last night’s annual MSC UK Awards, is a testament to the commitment to quality and breadth of product range consistently demonstrated by Brakes and its partner, M&J Seafood.
“At a time when supporting sustainable fisheries is more important than ever, Brakes and M&J Seafood have continued to show leadership in offering customers traceable, sustainable seafood,” said Loren Hiller, MSC Senior Commercial Officer, UK & Ireland. “I’d like to congratulate both businesses for helping to further our collective impact on ensuring seafood supplies are safeguarded into the future.”

Due to the impact of the global pandemic, this year’s awards ceremony was a virtual event, streamed from the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth on September 30th.
