Spatone® liquid iron, one of the UK’s favourite iron supplements*, is rolling out new packaging across the whole range of its products. Over the years, the two Spatone Original products (14 day and 28 day) have been added to, with Spatone Apple in 2011 and Spatone Sport in 2014. The new vibrant packaging will help all products have better stand out on shelf but will also make it easier for consumers to understand which product will be most suitable for them.

Although iron can be a very difficult mineral for the body to absorb, the iron naturally present in Spatone has been shown to be easily absorbed, with an average of 40% bioavailability**, compared to 5- 20% from food and other iron supplements. Spatone has also been scientifically shown to help top up iron levels whilst causing fewer of the unpleasant side effects often experienced with conventional iron food supplements***. Therefore, “gentle” and “easily absorbed” are written clearly on front of pack to appeals to all of Spatone’s target markets, from pregnant women to busy people and athletes.
