J&M Storage will mark its 25th anniversary of being in business this year. Starting as a family business in 1985, J&M Storage is now seen by many as one of the leading suppliers to the UK’s new and used pallet racking, longspan, and industrial steel shelving industry. The business has grown in size and now operates from its 80,000 sq ft distribution depot in Whitley Bridge, near Leeds in Yorkshire.
Current managing director, Philip Oxley, joined the business back in 1999 and took over from his father, Michael Oxley, the founder, on his retirement in 2001. Philip has successfully led the business, and delivered continued sales and profit growth of over 20% per year through investment in customer requirements, systematic targeted marketing, and developing a strong team culture.
