Accolade Wines, the UK’s number one wine company, has achieved significant growth for its mainstream premium wine portfolio, with over £13m added to the category in the last year. The buoyant range of £6 to £10 wines is up 27.5%, driven by the success of Hardys, Mud House and Jam Shed in response to the consumer move to drink higher quality wines. Jam Shed’s growth has been particularly impressive, with sales more than doubling from £4.2m to £10m in the last year, making it the number three Australian Shiraz in the £6-8 category.
