Boost brings New York City to wholesalers

This summer, Boost Drinks is bringing a taste of The Big Apple to retailers as part of its ongoing commitment to the independent sector and to raise awareness of it’s New-York themed summer on-pack promotion.

Staff from Boost headquarters visited Parfetts Cash and Carry in Stockport to assist retailers stocking up on soft drinks for the upcoming warmer months and highlight the benefits of Boost’s new on-pack promotion. Dressed as New York City tourists, the team wore branded caps, bum-bags and even had Statue of Liberty merchandise! The team were on hand to give out freebies including eye-catching POS and exciting branded goodies. They also restocked shelves and helped retailers pack up their vehicles to further demonstrate their ‘We Love Local’ proposition.

Amy Ankrah, Trade Marketing Manager for Boost Drinks, said: “Here at Boost we like to do things differently and want everything we do to show our commitment to supporting independent retailers. We love to get out and meet our customers and retailers face-to-face and tell them first-hand about how Boost can work with them. We know summer is a really busy time of the year, so it’s perfect timing to give them a hand with their shop, whilst also letting them know about the new on-pack promotion – designed specifically with increasing retailers’ sales in mind! We love to surprise our customers with a helping hand where we can – look out for us out and about again later in the year!”

The promotion features Boost Energy Original and Original Sugar Free 250ml 49p with a new eye-catching design which offers consumers the chance to win daily and weekly giveaways, as well as the ultimate prize of a trip to New York City for two. Running from 10th June to 20th October 2019, the competition is easy to enter; purchasers simply need to scan the code from their can via Snapchat or online to enter.

The on-pack promotion comes after Boost ran a hugely successful summer on-pack promotion in 2018 which was also designed to maximise retailers’ sales. The competition was entered by over 75,000 consumers and saw a sales uplift of 6% on Boost Energy Original 250ml![1].
