Empire Bespoke Foods, a leading speciality food importer, distributor, and food brand owner, is launching a new Cranberry & Lime flavour of the famous French artisanal limonade from La Mortuacienne.

The new flavour will launch to speciality stores, independents, wholesalers, and food halls & delis in spring 2024.

La Mortuacienne will be available in its iconic 1-litre premium glass bottle with an old-fashioned swing top that offers consumers a touch of excitement fitting with the current consumer desire for taste experiences that appeal to their senses, at affordable prices and using ingredients with nutritional value.

The bottle ‘pops’ when opened, making it perfect for a non-alcoholic option for celebrations – creating the same at-home theatre when opening a bottle of Champagne.

Created by Marcel-Alcide Rième in 1921, the sparkling La Mortuacienne is the emblematic product of the Maison Rième in Besançon, France.

It is produced using the traditional method passed down through generations. It is made using local French spring water coming from the Jura Mountains and contains natural colours, flavours, and pure cane sugar. The sugar content is only 8.5g per litre. The average lemonade contains more than 10g.
