This little known vinegar gives the same subtle sweet flavour as the classic brown balsamic, but without darkening the fresh colour of the apples, says Rachel Talintyre, Brand Manager. She explains: “White Balsamic gives a mellow and complex flavour to the sauce with none of the eye-watering acidity sometimes associated with standard vinegar.

“Our research shows consumers are ready to experiment with unusual ingredients, but, at the end of the day, we chose white balsamic because it was the best vinegar for the job. For us taste must always come ahead of fashion.”The English Provender Company is pitching its new apple sauce as the perfect accompaniment not only to roast pork, but also sausages, duck and game.
