Upbeat Spirits, a new independent drinks company based in Cornwall, debuts an exciting new offering into the UK rum category – with the launch of 8Track.

The refreshing new spiced rum boasts a full flavour, smooth, zestful spirit – balanced with fresh citrus and warm spice – bringing a premium, all-natural and high-quality new product to market.

Owing its name to the iconic recording medium, 8Track was born from a shared love of music, togetherness, celebrating good times and is designed to be enjoyed served straight on the rocks, with a quality mixer or as the base of a cocktail.

Made from fine Guyana and smooth 8-year-old vintage Barbados rums, the bespoke blend is infused with sustainably sourced Seville oranges, vanilla, cloves, ginger and cinnamon.

Standing out from the crowd, the fun-loving and exciting new rum is presented with a bold and bright label design – encapsulating its ‘good times’ philosophy.

Tuning into the growing consumer demand for UK made, premium spiced rum 8Track arrives as sales of the spirit continue to significantly rise (with the WSTA reporting 8% volume gains worth £430 million in October 2020) – introducing a contemporary new offering, using authentic ingredients that challenge the status quo.

Striving to do better for the planet, 8Track uses only lightweight recycled glass bottles (which are 100% recyclable) and is partnering with paper packaging pioneers, Flexi-Hex – to offer a sustainable packaging solution that’s plastic free.

8Track is available nationwide in the UK from £28.50 for 70cl (37.5% ABV) on www.8trackrum.com and www.Masterofmalt.com – with on-trade sales available via St. Austell Brewery – and a growing number of independent stockists in the South West and London, alongside activations at key music festivals throughout 2021.
