st-helier-group.jpgICB’s latest TV and radio football deals have just ensured an awareness rating at the top of the league for its star player St Helier Pear Cider. Their latest signing with ITV1, for the massively popular The Championship, ensures that St Helier messages will appear every Sunday morning for the entire season, starting this month and continuing right through to May 2009. Joint MD Paul Burton: “Around 500,000 people tune in to The Championship every week so, as far as football fans go, St Helier has once again made Sunday mornings their own, ensuring that between 80-90% of UK males will see the sponsorship over the course of the season.”

St Helier has also signed for a regular Monday morning fi xture too – having snapped up a sponsorship deal around talkSPORT radio’s flagship programme, the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast.

In a feature called “Championship Round-Up”, the programme will provide listeners with a run down of all the action from The Championship (and any key action from League One & Two) in the form of a 40 second audio piece pre-recorded by one of talkSPORT’s popular names and sponsored by St Helier Pear Cider.

Paul Burton again: “Alan Brazil’s programme is compulsive listening for sports fans and we are very pleased that this very popular sportsman and broadcaster will further endorse the St Helier brand by running a St Helier giveaway competition on air every week throughout the Season.”

St Helier’s sponsorship of The Championship on ITV1 began on Sunday 10th August, and “Championship Round-Up”, on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, on talkSPORT, on Monday 11th.
