Courtney Lewis, Customer Director for Independent Convenience & Wholesale at Premier Foods comments: “With more and more people cooking at home, there is a real opportunity for the cooking sauces category as these products allow consumers to create quick and easy delicious meals. We’re looking forward to taking Sharwood’s on the road to celebrate National Curry Week and show our support for the wholesale and convenience channel. We want to use this key event to help our retail customers make the most of meal at home occasions by demonstrating how easy it is to recreate some of the nation’s favourite restaurant inspired dishes, but with great taste and premium quality.”

As National Curry Week begins, retailers should maximise key calendar events and opportunities that meal at home or big night in occasions offer, by using eye-catching displays, stocking best-selling products such as Sharwood’s and offering a wide range to meet consumer needs – this includes accompaniments like Sharwood’s Ready to Eat Poppadoms, Mini Plain Naans and Mango Chutney. These top tips will help to increase basked spend by bringing all elements of a restaurant meal to the dining table.
