Following on from Baker Street’s successful brand evolution last year, the range extensions reach into a new category of home baking for the international branded bakery business.
The Sponge Flan Cases are aimed at both retail and foodservice sectors and make it easy for people of all abilities to unleash their inner Mary Berry and create quick, delicious and praise-worthy desserts. Available in medium (100g) and large (200g) varieties, the versatile flan cases are ready baked and just need to be filled and decorated. With a minimum guaranteed life of 60 days*, the sponge flan cases and cake layers are an efficient and versatile solution for both retailers and food service.
The Sponge Layer Cakes (400g), available in Classic (plain) and Chocolate, lessen the time taken to prepare and serve a delicious treat. With little more required of the end user beyond filling and decorating, St Pierre Groupe’s most recent launches answer the demand for products that offer convenience and ease of use for time-poor consumers.
The range extensions follow a very successful year for the Baker Street Brand which grew 30%** to end of 2018, delivering an RSV of £20m. The brand evolution delivered a clearer pack communication for consumers and simplified messaging for retailers. Cleverly packed for freshness, the brand has proved popular with both retailers and consumers looking to not only for the convenience of longer life products, but also for those looking to reduce their food waste.
