Leading foodservice wholesaler Thomas Ridley has strengthened its sales and e-commerce team with two new appointments.  Paul Knight, joins as Sales Director, with a 30-year career spent mainly working for Bidfood and latterly as MD of Bidvest’s Catering Equipment Division for 15 years. 

Damien Barrett, Thomas Ridley Managing Director, welcomes Paul to the business,

“This has been a really tough year, but we are now able to put our business plans into action and activate key initiatives to move Thomas Ridley forward.  This is a great time to welcome Paul to the business and elevate our sales department with his expert skills and industry knowledge.  We are delighted to have him on board.”

Keen to get started in his new role, Paul is leveraging his skillset to benefit Thomas Ridley,

As Thomas Ridley adapted their business model over the pandemic and lockdowns, e-commerce became an even more important area for growth and that has led to the appointment of Adam Caddy as E-Commerce Manager.  Adam joins the business with a 14-year career in e-commerce and digital marketing which will enable Thomas Ridley to continue to improve their already award-winning digital platform.
